Our Story

Founded in Dallas in 2012.

Event Southwest was founded in 2012 by Lear Johnson and Michael Luchsinger. The premise was straightforward: events that matter to communities deserve professional-grade infrastructure.

We work as a fractional event production department, embedded in your team from the initial feasibility review through the post-event recap.

We document every event thoroughly — run-of-show, contingency plans, vendor records, and post-event reporting — so the institutional knowledge lives with your organization, not just our team. You own the history.
